The 7.29c patch release in Dota 2
Recently the 7.29c patch was released in Dota 2. The developers changed several items and also balanced 20 heroes there. You can find the complete list of changes on the official website - the 7.29c patch. In this article, we highlight the changes to the meta heroes in the 7.29 patch.
Items
Beastmaster

One of the 7.29 patch key heroes, Beastmaster, has been changed: Aghanim's Scepter no longer gives him the bonus damage (30 dmg) to Wild Axes. It is a significant nerf because now the hero will need to make one throw of axes more to farm.
In addition to the nerf, the hero received minor buffs to other abilities and talents, which together should help him maintain his place in the meta. Beastmaster currently has an extremely high Ban Rate in the professional Dota 2. So let's see how that changes after balancing.
Centaur Warrunner

Another meta hero of the current patch, Centaur Warrunner, has received a minor debuff. The cooldown of Hoof Stomp in the early stages has been increased, and the regeneration of the level 10 talent has been reduced. Changes are unlikely to affect the hero's popularity.
At the moment, Centaur Warrunner has been picked on the professional Dota 2 on 202 maps out of 575 played ones.
Grimstroke

The most popular hero of the 7.29 patch, Grimstroke, has also been weakened. The Ink Swell ability now gives less bonus speed, just like the level 10 talent. Now the hero is used in both mid and support positions and has already been picked on 255 out of 575 maps. Let's see whether balancing will affect his popularity.
