Overview of teams ranking changes on December 14
A weekly update of the professional Dota 2 teams' ranking has been released on the website. Last week just blew up our ranking: there have never been so many changes yet! It ended with OGA Dota PIT China Season 4, and of course, two Epic League divisions.
Due to the victory in the Epic League Division 1, Virtus Pro climbed 18 positions at once and took 3rd place in our ranking, while the vice-champion of the tournament, the OG team, jumped from 10th place immediately to 4th!
The Chinese team Elephant has also greatly strengthened its position. After winning the OGA Dota PIT China Season 4, the team took 7th place in our ranking. It is the second major championship in a row for Elephant. It is worth noting the vice-champion of the tournament, PSG.LGD. After all changes, the team almost had enough to get ahead of the ranking leader, Team Secret.
Continue through the list, and Fnatic is next. The team took 22nd place in our ranking because their last changes in the roster brought back the team's core, which was performing in the summer. And with such changes, part of the points that were earned earlier returned.
A similar situation is for T1. The Korean organization gathered almost the entire roster of the previously disbanded Geek Fam, and together with the players, their earned points were transferred.
Next week, we are also expecting a change in the ranking because OGA Dota PIT Season 4: Europe/CIS will start tomorrow, and by the end of the week, we will see the end of the BTS Pro Series Season 4 in each of the presented regions!
