Chimera Sneak Into The Playoffs – DreamLeague S25 Group Stage Results
The grueling second Group Stage of DreamLeague Season 25 has ended, and we’ve had some surprising eliminations and qualifications. Here is a recap of what happened throughout the past week.
PARIVISION, despite a slow performance in the first Group Stage, is completely alive in the second. The Eastern European squad ended the phase with a flawless 7 - 0 record, only dropping two maps in total.
Tundra Esports, after slipping up a few times, still qualified for the Playoffs with a respectable 5 - 2 record. These group leaders will begin their run in the Upper Bracket in a match against each other.
After some close calls, Team Spirit still advanced to the next stage with a 4 - 3 record. The TI winners survived a potential tiebreaker after taking down Team Liquid in their final series. However, the biggest surprise of the tournament was Chimera, who claimed the final slot in the top four.
Daxak and the crew started the second Group Stage with a perfect 4 - 0 record, but ended up losing their remaining matches to mirror Team Spirit’s score. The qualification for Playoffs was a shock to everyone, including the Chimera squad themselves. According to rumors, the team was ready to disband before the start of DreamLeague, but they’ll have to think twice based on this already-amazing result.
