“Crystallis, We’re Coming For You” - PARIVISION Set Up Rematch Against Tundra
PARIVISION outlasted the BetBoom Team in the one of the slowest series we’ve seen in professional Dota 2. The former advances to the final day of ESL One Raleigh 2025, where they will face Tundra Esports for a spot in the Grand Final.
The first map was an absolute slugfest. There were 12 total kills at the 33-minute mark. In all LAN games, this scoreline was in 14th place for the fewest total kills in Dota 2’s history. However, when team fights eventually started, the BetBoom Team managed to outmaneuver PARIVISION with Pure’s Phantom Assassin ending the game 10/1/10.
The second map started with the same pace as the first. Both teams were farming, but it was building up for an intense late game. PARIVISION struck first, taking two lanes of Barracks, but the BetBoom Team started pulling the game together after Pure went for his signature Divine Rapier.
However, the game reached the 60-minute mark, where 9Class picked Book of the Dead as his Tier 5 item, sending Necromonicons to continuously split push. While a huge team fight broke out, the BetBoom Team was killing off PARIVISION heroes, but the split push was in full effect. PARIVISION got Mega Creeps during this engagement, and eventually won the game purely from map pressure.
The BetBoom Team completely ran out of steam on the decisive map. PARIVISION easily closed the series after a dominant 28-minute game and a 27-4 scoreline.
After the series against the BetBoom Team, DM warned his former teammate in a post-match interview:
“Crystallis, we’re coming for you!”
Earlier this tournament, Tundra Esports sent PARIVISION down to the Lower Bracket after a convincing win. Crystallis, having been kicked from his previous team after winning a Major, mentioned the win felt “funny”.
