SG e-sports don't get prize money for DPC Summer Tour

South American Esports organization SG e-sports has asked Valve to solve the issue of prize money for the DPC Summer Tour. According to club representatives, they made a public statement as the tournament organizer wasn't responding to their emails.

SG e-sports:

Hello to all fans! Unfortunately, we would not like to return to social networks for this type of post, but we found no alternative but to press through public exposure.

To date, Valve and the company that represents it in the organization of the official South American circuit called 4D have not paid the amounts due for the 3rd Tour.

The rules provide for a deadline of 90 days for payment but the championship ended on July 17, that is, 134 days have passed and we have not received ANYTHING.

We tried through dialogue, and we were patient but there is a limit to everything. Our players are struggling to pay basic bills to survive and Valve is completely silent and we have nothing to do but ask the community for support.

Before involving Valve itself we tried to resolve this with 4D itself but despite promises, no payment has been made yet. We sent an email 4 days ago to Valve, which has not even responded. Please help us receive it!

DPC Summer Tour of the 21/22 season ended on June 17, 2022. SG e-sports participated in the Upper Division of South America. The team finished in 5th place and should receive $25,000.
