OG's CEO told about plans for 2021
As we wrote earlier, ??OG has introduced a new CEO - ??J.M.R Luna. He recently told about the organization's plans for 2021 and the future of the Dota 2 scene.
According to ??J.M.R Luna:
The main challenge for ??OG soon is to open offices for fans in Shanghai and Singapore, and many other countries later. After two victories at TI, the team has received a lot of new fans, and it is foolish not to keep in touch with them. Last year, ??OG players already traveled to different countries to meet with fans, but it will become much easier with the offices.
Also, ??J.M.R Luna highlighted that due to the developer and tournament operators' power, the teams participating in tournaments receive not much income. In the future, many teams will have to unite and either create their own leagues or compromise with the developer.
Previously, many Esports managers have spoken out about low income, the core part of which are sponsorship contracts.
