Tournament organizer ESL has revealed all participants of ESL One Summer 2021 and presented the tournament format. The organizer announced that Team Spirit refused to participate, and their place would go to Team Unique. The first matches start in 2 days.

Format
A Double Elimination format awaits all ESL One Summer 2021 participants. Eight teams start from the 1/8 and four more teams - Virtus Pro, Quincy Crew, T1, and Team Secret - start from 1/4. Seeding is based on DPC points. Each match plays up to wins and the grand final — in a BO5 format.
ESL One Summer 2021 takes place online on June 16-20. Twelve teams from different regions will compete for the champion title and a total prize pool of $400,000.
