9 Pandas Complete Lower Bracket Run And Qualify For ESL One Kuala Lumpur
The new iteration of 9 Pandas lost their opening match in the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 EEU Closed Qualifiers. This loss knocked them down to the Lower Bracket, where every match they played was an elimination one.
Still, 9 Pandas defeated Team Team, Natus Vincere, and Klim Sani4 to set up a qualification match against Virtus.Pro, a team that is missing their Carry player Kiritych, in the Lower Bracket Final.
The first map was relatively close, but 9 Pandas could eventually take the lead and win the game. In the second map, Virtus.Pro looked to even up the series with a 10,000 net worth lead, but 9 Pandas showed their superior teamfighting prowess to steal the game, winning the series 2-0.
This victory meant 9 Pandas had taken the second and final invite from the Eastern Europe region.
